Acrobat Reader problem:

Response received: "Netscape Smart Download cannot run".

Having observed "if you are have difficulty in downloading" at the bottom of the Adobe page, I attempted to download the alternate source - namely Acrobat 3.0

However, there is no version for Win 98.

Any suggestions?
