Karl

Thanks for sharing your view. I am already aware of the software which blocks banner ads, as well as the switch which prevents cookies from being placed on your hard drive, but am intruiged as to what other solutions you are working on in this regard.

This could lead to government restriction or a technological solution which consumers will glom on to in mass!

Yeah, we are really all gonna beg to have the government step in and run things. I don't think so.

I think Merrill Lynch is about right:

úDCLK shares have been weak recently due, in our opinion, to further concerns on
privacy. We believe the privacy issues are still more perception than reality however, in
this market, perception appears to be reality with stocks that are very sensitive to
catalysts. We think as more stories are released with regard to privacy issues, DCLK
shares could remain under pressure.

ú In our opinion, the fundamentals are very solid and we do not see any near term changes
to our forecasts or outlook as a result of these issues.

ú Depending on the future outcome of privacy concerns, we think there could potentially
be some long term reduction in what the company can conceivably do (if the
environment becomes more restricted).

ú We think these issues will be resolved and continue to believe DCLK is a solid franchise.

ú We anticipate a robust quarter and we think the stock should recover as we move past
these issues.
