I think they've all taken up day trading, so they don't have as much time to do their regular work. <ggg>

LG: A couple of comments about your search for a lawyer.

Best choice is the RE lawyer your old lawyer would ask to handle his/her own work. If you trusted the old lawyer, and he/she did good work, then chances are the referral will be good. If you were a good client, the old lawyer would likely make the intro call for you.

Stay away from law school prof. referrals (sorry dmb). Any lawyer who is seen as good by a law school prof. likely has too much esoteric interest in the wholly irrelavant world of academia which has zero to do with the real world you and most lawyers live in. You want someone who knows how to get the job done, not some windbag who sits around acting like they actually do something of value for the legal community by pondering the obscure.

Any lawyer who will not pick up the phone, or return a call in a reasonable time, when a potential new client is calling should be eliminated from the list.
