Rarebird, You've got two of the major components of the XAU that lose millions if the POG begins to rise (ABX and ASL). The whole industry is in such a state of choas with hedging that investors don't know what to do. The XAU is therefore NOT reliable at all right now.

Rarebird, XAU is having a retrace from a gap, I think. AEM is through its gap, NEM is having some problems with its gap. Perhaps the institutions are picking up some cheap shares, perhaps its trouble. We'll know soon, its Friday. Roebear
