Tomasso:

Just speculation on my part, but aside from the numbers produced this AM, which were very bullish for gold, there is another factor that might be coming into play. Plenty of rumour about Goldman Sachs having been hit hard in yesterday's bond cremation. Goldman is also a very big player in the gold environment (as a bullion dealer), and it is well known that they routinely carry BIG gold short positions. With one nipple already in the wringers courtesy of bonds, did GS engage the other via gold?

Sure glad I put out a little piece yesterday suggesting that among other things, intelligent investors ought to be buying "junior golds with large proven reserves as a currency hedge". Sometimes even the blind squirrels get lucky. (g)

Best, Earlie

T, Saint SexBurger? Supersize me a couple of those, please. <g>

Gold is a roarin'. I've been watching Platinum's dust so long that I almost missed it. <g>
