The cable modem v. DSL debate is as heated as the Intel v. AMD debate, and I REALLY don't want to participate, since I've never had DSL I wouldn't have much to offer anyway. I will say that cable is very, very, fast, enough for me. I think on DSL you pay differing rates for different speeds. My cable access is 39.95 per month.

Golf was, of course, great. My score was even less than Intel's closing price <g>. I wish my game would improve at the same rate as my portfolio.

You are right, par ain't bad. If the market cooperates, I don't see Intel going below 100 again. With W2K, Itanium buzz, 1 Gig buzz, lower costs for increased gross margins, a cyclical upturn in PC sales, new businesses growing at 50%, flash HOT, well, I guess I'm optimistic.
