Well Dennis, I guess I'm just a bit simplistic in my world view. If there's some loon that wants to barge into the room and say, "Guess what I"ve just shorted a stock that's appreciated 700% in approximately 3 months", more power to him; it doesn't make sense to me, but, that's what makes a market, I guess. The real pros keep their mouth shut about their position. It's only fools that tell everything to the world. Or at least that's my humble opinion.

Dennis: OT. I like your military analogy, but with regards to the paradox of preparedness....well.....one always fights, and tends to prepare for, the battles already fought or known.

The unexpected always has a way of reaching right up and biting you in the *ahem*. So the only real way of preparing is by remaining flexible, and not adhering to any sort of rigid doctrine. As in war, so too this philosophy works when playing this game. Never lock yerself into one set of tactics. Oh, and always, always, ALWAYS keep your ear to the ground.

In the meantime....can you STAND waiting on next week? ;-)

Regards!

John~

You have consistently come across as a not very perceptive ass. Of course, you have done it again. You can continue to be wrong about your assignations but you would best keep it to yourself. At least then, people have to guess how big a fool you are instead of knowing.
