Running Bull;

I have sold a <4% of my holdings to cover previous debts incurred during margin calls 1 1/2 yrs ago. I now have no margin debt. Sold 30 April 35 covered calls at 6 5/8 just before earnings, as I stated there was a little untrue takeover hype factored in, and I bought back those calls at 4 1/4 and 4 5/8. (BTW, for some reason the sales at 4 1/4 never were recorded in the price and volume). I think a couple of folks followed my lead and made a few short term $ at the time.

..I'm bullish as hell. As I stated before, I've backed up my dump truck and letting it fill up at this point. No reason to pull away. Again, I'll state, we'll see 75 by end the of Semicon week in July.

..Don't worry. I change direction, you'll hear about it within a day or 2.

..Why in the hell would you sell, anyway? :')

You're right, this board is dead. I tried to find a chart reader yesterday, but no-one responded. Chart looks like MTSN is going to the moon (my view). Ian is gone, got in a huff with a newbie, picked up his marbles and went home. I think John is thinking of following suit as a show of support for Ian.

However, I notice what appears to be a general fall-off in posting on SI......wondering if Raging Bull, Motley Fool, Yahoo! and other similar sites are biting into SI membership. Also, I think SI still charges a fee, while the others are free. In any case, this board, and many others that I follow on SI, all seem to be suffering from fewer contributors. I posted to the PSEM site for a long time, almost died of boredom.......should have been more interest as PSEM was almost a 6 bagger in the past 12 months..

Anyhow, my opinion on MTSN.....we're going to run to 40+, then another dip, but not to 27-28........33 will be about the bottom. Of course, all bets off on general market retreat!

Best Wishes!

Knip

I don't know about the others, but I'm still long and expect to remain so for the rest of this calendar year. I've been in since mid '96, added significantly to my position in 9/98, and again in June of last year. Its had a great run, but I think there is still plenty left to go.

I generally try to hold stocks that I think will double within the next 12-18 months. I don't try to call specific prices/dates, but its been my experience that the best prospects for doubling within that timeframe usually end up doing considerably better than the target. I think MTSN is still a safe double (at least) from here, because the industry is still moving strongly up-cycle, and because MTSN is taking market share, growing organically, has turned profitable, and has excellent near term prospects for continued earnings growth.

After that, the market might begin discounting the next turn in the cycle, and so it might be appropriate to sell at that point. Too early to see that far though, I think.

FWIW
