Hi,

I was originally told that the multi g200 would be available around January from their sales staff. It now appears to be slightly behind schedule. Interestingly, If you go to the Matrox site and search for "g200 multi"... they appear to have an instruction manual for the g200 quad head in pdf format from Dec. '99. The Quad card sounds quite interesting with models supporting digital or analog or both outputs.--- John

Right now, I'm able to drive 5 monitors off 1 box by using MatroxG200 cards 1-AGP and 4-PCI without a problem. You can still get them at widgets (www.widgetsinc.com). Widgets was recommended to me by Matrox sales. The multi card looks nice but no need to wait if you have the PCI slots. Also, if you're taking the individual card route mixing AGP and PCI, it may be wise to install the PCI cards first then the AGP..apparently some yadda yadda about most computer BIOS recognizing the card in PCI slot1 before the AGP slot.. whatever.

look for G200 multi-monitor series: matrox.com

Their PR stated release for Q3 '99
