Jockey,

Is the G200 quad head an AGP or PCI card? And do you have an estimated price?

Sue :)

Genejockey, great info. As an Appian user, I have found that for strict business apps, Appains work well. But incase the comptuer is used for gaming or other multimonitor purposes (video conferencing or DVD playback), the advanced chipsets utlized (with higher memory) in the Matrox products win hands down. Plus, Appians are great but are very pricey. With regard to the matrox products, keep us informed with updates please.

Regards,
Hasan

I checked out www.widgetsinc.com for the Matrox Millennium G200 8Mb PCI card and noticed that it comes in both Retail and OEM versions. The retail lists for $119.00 and the OEM lists for $105.00.

Can anyone comment on what differences the two versions might have?
By the way, these prices seem EXPENSIVE compared to the ATI Expert '98 card which lists for $46.00 in an OEM version and $63.00 for the Retail version.

Thanks.

Sue :)
