The 3-DAY pattern does not start/become evident untill the first big down day which closes near the intraday lows. By that time, if I was to add a position, I may have already missed the majority of the move, keeping in mind that with mutual funds the price of the fund is based on the close.

For the 1st 5 trades we did not use more than 25%(unhedged) which is very conservative. For the 1st 5 trades since JAN 21 we averaged about 8.8% per trade, but since we only used 25% of the capital, the total account is only up about 8%. Still not bad for about 2 weeks, but far from aggressive.

I guess it comes to the decision as to how aggressive I want to be at a certain time, but you have a point. That approach is subjective, and if I just stay with my signals I should just add to the position and play the numbers game.
