Hi Cisco and Carolyn~ Re our new "computer lingo" and HDTVs

......In for just a minute this AM...BUT am sitting here laughing, and thinking "my, we are developing our own new language unbelievably fast" ....If anyone had been away for two years on some remote island with no electronics....wonder if they would know what you guys were talking about with the last 4 messages!! I've been here, but I don't know...<snicker with chagrin>

I give up...."what's Fetch, and the correct ftp stuff"....??

And while we're thinking of stuff I don't understand....

TV's......Now, that's an interesting excursion yesterday....No such thing as just liking the size and color, and possibly the definition....NO SIREE! We were looking at several big ones (I wonder if our room is big enough to see a movie screen size picture)....at HD TV....(no such thing as something reasonably priced here...) and would it accomodate DirecTV or similar, and how much were the add on boxes if we got something else less than 5 grand.....

Would REALLY appreciate ANY info or things you've encountered with recent TV purchases...good and bad, and any thoughts on manufacturers, and goodies the TV either accomodates, or will accomodate...
Thanks, KLP
