Chaz, your comment and my agreement with you presents a good opportunity to remind newcomers that the
essence of Gorilla Gaming is that people like me who don't have the foggiest idea about the stuff buck and his
cohorts are talking about don't need to understand it. All we need to know is whether or not there's a
proprietary, open technology that can lead to a mass-market tornado. And if we can't figure that out, we
simply move on to an area of technology that we can figure out.

If ignorance is bliss, when it comes to following their conversation I'm in complete bliss.

Mike,

I don't know what the heck these guys are talking about much of the time either! Your comments remind me of one of my favorite quotes:

"I may not know much about science but I know what I like." <g>

My point Mike is that there are simple ways to explain just about anything. If we're going to keep this thread viable, then we have to make it visible to all the physicians, lawyers, teachers, students, housewives and many other non-technically trained people who are here, and who know the GG rules.

If, in the mumbo-jumbo, they can't apply the rules...what good is the thread doing for them. We'll lose 'em. They'll go back to investing in something they CAN understand.

I know these guys are brilliant. I know they're technical whizzes. I know they can talk to one another. It's the rest of us I'm concerned about.

Merlin, it becomes the responsibility of those engaged in technical dialog to keep that dialog in ggamer terms so that all can see the essence of the discussion. IMO, buck has done that beautifully, as have others before.

As the discussion progresses, it will become a series of ggamer hypotheses that we can test for gorilla/king/tornado qualifications. Be patient, but those watching the dialog who may not get the technical points MUST take responsibility to keep the conversation on ggamer track and ask questions. The questions from folks like you will lead to the conclusions that ALL will understand.
