What a bizarre day for PCLN. The tape looks almost orchestrated: some of the previously locked-up shares were being unloaded but definitely deep pockets were there to absorb the sales and prop up the price all in a seemingly orderly fashion . I?d have to guess that big institutional holders were behind the relative calm of this much anticipated lock-up expiration. The options players may be another force behind PCLN?s stock behavior. By no means is the effect of the lock-up over but IMHO day one was slightly more encouraging for the bulls.
