I pride myself in math, but didn't get the answer to your analyst quiz: What's the missing # in the series below: 2 10 _ 2074 But, the answer makes no sense, the series is supposed to be: ((x6)-2), and the missing number is 346. If that's ((x to the sixth power) - 2) I get: x=1 ((16)- 2) = - 1 x=2 ((26)- 2) = 34 so that doesn't work. If the formula is ((x TIMES 6)- 2) I get: x=1 ((16)-2) = 4 x=2 ((26)-2) = 10 x=3 ((36)-2) = 16 that doesn't fit the series either. Help: inquiring minds want to know????? Jim
