Annamaria, I have received word a few months ago from the management of Durban Roodepoort Deep (DROOY) management that they are looking into the possibilities at Dakota Mining.
As you know, DKT (DAKMF) did seek reorganization protection under chapter 11.

DROOY's management is on the acquisition trail now and although the US mines were not on their shopping list, Dakota was interesting enough that it made their list.
I'm sure others are focused as well!

You will note that Royal Oak mines is now returning to the marketplace that was many times in dire straights as opposed to Dakota.

As POG rises, DKT has the GOLD in the ground and that value and resource can be leveraged including hedging if need be.

It a waiting game. The Dakota mines have the capability to mine 200,000+ oz per year with costs of 220 per oz.

Certainly worthy of any suitor, after all they have very workable mines..... interesting times ahead.
