OT: EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SINUS PROBLEMS

I've also heard mention in the past couple months of several studies that have found that a large percentage of folks with sinus problems have a fungal infection. I remember one study that reported something like 80-90% of the people in the study had evidence of a fungal infection. One of these days I'd like to get an accurate diagnosis of whatever my sinus problem is. I think too often, doctors just dismiss it as just an allergy. Mine has.

Jill, I really appreciate you taking the time to write all of that. I may go to the dentist because that now makes some sense to me. I am going to try that ultra-Q also. Thanks again.

i too have experience with chronic sinus problems..my daughter suffered for months with them..what i found was the quercetin , vit c and bromelin..bromelin is natural substance from the pineapple plant..it takes down imflamation..i live in ny and took my daughter to manhattan eye and ear..a very prestigious hospital..and was pleasantly surprised that they too are recommending bromalin for sinus problem..there is a product from nutrition warehouse called activated quercetin that has all 3 ingredients in it..when my daughter was at her worst i took her for accupuncture, which is very helpful to open up the sinusus and let them drain...hope this helps...sue
