Every sentence in your post is worth an essay.

I did not realize that 1/3rd of Yahoo's page views were financial. That's an incredible statistic.

If AMZN continues to acquire debt, and continues to not be profitable, then the company is in a quandry... even with this debt issue, the company only has about 1 year's worth of working capital, and no chance of positive cash flow.

But what if... AMZN were to transform itself a B2C incubator? Why, it could spin off its "profitable" Amazon.com Books and Music division. Then it could spin off its Database Marketing unit. Next would come a B2C consultancy. All of which would have wildly successful IPOs under the tutelage of the best investment houses.
