How can we discuss Ariad without someone like you bringing it to our attention ?

You appear to have missed my point entirely. Why do you think I mentioned the volume numbers? Why do you think I mentioned the nationwide press coverage? Etc.

PRECISELY because if this thread were REALLY paying attention to new and different ideas, it would have been virtually IMPOSSIBLE to miss Ariad. When a biotech trades 15+ million shares, shows up on the NASDAQ most active list (both twice in less than a week), and no one here thinks out loud, 'Anyone know what's goin' on with Ariad. It's had some huge volume days recently', you best believe there are people NOT paying attention to outside events around here.

This has NOTHING to do with anyone 'faulting' anyone else for lack of 'promotion' of 'favorite' stocks. Your 'faulting' claim is not is not only untrue ( and effectively skirts my entire point), but your unabashed PROMOTION of Ligand and the like makes your reply read with hypocrisy written all over it.
