OT OT OT:

Anyone who is a Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young fan - past and/or present - do not miss their current concert. Just came back from 3+ hours of great music - all them, no wannabes opening the show. This is especially directed to anyone in the Sacramento, CA area. Believe they are playing there next - maybe tomorrow (Tuesday the 8th) evening.

A truly outstanding evening of music!

Jon, about money supply

. . . . There seems to have been a lot of naive talk over our increase in money supply. Who cares? It takes an incredible about of money to fuel the global economy that the U.S. tech companies are creating. The U.S. dollar is becoming the official currency all around the globe.

For example, I have an interesting fact for you. I bet not many people here in the U.S. know this--

. . . . I go to Cuba all the time. Did you know that the U.S. dollar is the official currency in Cuba? The Cuban government even prints its own replica of the dollar. All hotel bills, all restaurant bills, all tourist cards, and all airport exit taxes are paid in U.S. dollars. Try to give someone in Cuba a peso. Yeah, right? I've rarely even seen a peso there.

There is incredible concern over counterfeiting down there, too. You should see how the store proprietor carefully writes down the bill number and your passport number whenever you give him a $100 bill. Wow!

AND WE DON'T EVEN HAVE DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS WITH CUBA

Traditional economists who fear the increase in money supply and the pending doom of inflation don't understand what has happened in the years since the Berlin Wall came tumbling down. The U.S. is now running the show. It's SHOWTIME and the tech companies have the ball.

I'll try to keep my speeches shorter next time.
