What a great post to read, jp. I'm amazed he's playing ball. wow. Can you imagine the crowd when he enters the game in the playoffs? Can you imagine being his parent and seeing it? He sounds like such a special young man. Your family must be very happy.
My friend who had non Hodgkins lymphoma two years ago was at a dinner party with us Friday night. She has been declared in remission and is doing well, except for the weight gain left over from the steroids. We were all talking about diets and I thought to myself that it must be heaven for her to be complaining about weight and bad hair days after what she's been through.

I have to remember to tell Ammo about your cousin tonight. While I'm not a proponent of the Quit whining, there are children starving in Africa school of parenting, (not that Ammo ever whines- he takes after his stoic father, not his tragedy queen mother) sometimes it can help to stop for a moment and look at what could be and where you really are.

Speaking of which, how are you?

Good. Please keep us posted. I have been worried. I hate it when kids get sick. I just saw that Gene Wilder is hospitalized with lymphoma, and he'll always be just a big kid to me, so it's nice to have good news, too.
