So now we have IBM, CPQ and HP pushing the corporate desktop to sub-$500 in order to provide a complete systems sale with an overall cost advantage... I don't think any of these companies are selling those products at a loss.

These companies intend to drive for better than 50% of their commercial desktop units at those prices by year end 2000... that takes today's ASP of about $1700 and gets it closer to $1100...
