CMGI broadband initiative with SoftNet SoftNet Wireless Web Plans: Analyst Comment 2/8/00 9:18:00 AM Source: Bloomberg News New York, Feb. 8 (Bloomberg) -- John Corcoran, an analyst at CIBC World Markets Inc., comments on possible plans by SoftNet Systems Inc. to sell high-speed Internet access over wireless devices. Corcoran has a 'buy' rating on the company, which now provides the service through cable-television lines. There are four ways to deliver broadband access to the home or office: Teleco (using phone lines), cable, satellite and wireless. Today, they cover satellite and cable.
