Not far-fetched at all Television as we know it is dead. Within a decade the "TV" that sits in your den will be an Internet appliance that is designed to access any of thousands of "channels" of live and/or archived video streams from all around the world. The network really will be the computer, and EMC will supply a good deal of the storage for it. Watch for continued synergies between EMC and companies like GBLX, Q, LVLT, WCOM, etc. as this story unfolds. EMC shareholders are going to like the 21st century a lot.
