jon, there is HUGE inflation. just not cpi inflation. examples? real estate is booming - homes in my area are up 40% in 3.5 years. stocks are another example.

in 1990 you could buy oracle's 50%+ growth rate for a mid 30 multiple. recently you got 20% and change for 125 pe.

growth down 50%, valuation up 200% for a whopping 400% inflation over the last 10 years.

but what is housing and retirement fund inflation compared to egg inflation? ;-)
