Hi Paul:

Like I said nothing to be excited about with 4 or even 6 times as many Coppermines as Athys or 4 or 6 times Intel total vs. AMD total...Whichever way you choose to cut it, I'd expect a whole lot more in a relative sense from a company with 60 times the market cap! Some people I guess can live with mediocrity!

Maybe Intel is doing just fine, as some of you here promise, but if they are only hoping (and it's a big hope, imho) to produce 4 times as many PWeeIII invisibles as AMD does Athlons, and they have 60 times the market cap, then that would imply to me that AMD must be doing a spectacular and outstanding job...and that, Mr. $35-11/16's on Feb. 2/00, is precisely why AMD will provide the superior ROI in Y2000!

It must be very difficult to swallow the fact that AMD, 1/60th the size of AMD, has developed the WORLD'S FASTEST PROCESSOR...Just goes to show you, it's not necessarily how big you are but how smart your management team is!

Paul - Re: "But then again, what can I expect from a blind AMDroid ?"

Well, even a blind, dumb PIG can find an acorn, now and then.
