JDN/They use to... I'd say about 5 years ago, they put out some PR all about the 'cinema of the future' and how their media server will be playing a big roll. Initially, I believe they envisioned the cinema industry would be saying 'bye-bye' to 16mm tape and begin distributing their 'films' via datacom networks via EMC Media servers/storage. Maybe they've been forced to take a different tack now since that scenario didn't develop quite like they had hoped. Still might and most likely will someday. Coming to a theatre near you!? But on the other hand, cable companies and others in the TV industry most likely have already taken a long look at the future and will turn to EMC to bring the future into the present. I have tried in the past to drum up some conversation about it but most newbies didn't seem to know what I was talking about so I let it drop. You're right though, big market! Some old PR... emc.com
