I, with all my heart, believe there has been a direct manipulation of gold price. As most producers of gold also produce silver, there has been an indirect manipulation of silver.

But, one can not say the price has been "fairly steady", the low was put in two years ago at $4.28 oz. The average price of silver producers is around $6.00, & IMHO the price won't stay below cost of production much longer.
