[-it's better to keep 'em 'bad'?]

For the sake of the character it is definitely better. Danny Devito is a really cool guy in real life. If they ever portrayed him that way as Louis DiPalma, it would have spoiled the show forever. He carried all the good guys in Taxi. Well Jim helped but I only watched it because of Louis and Jim. I don't like watching comedians or bad guys who are obviously acting stupid but I love to hate guys like Louis DiPalma and can't wait for each episode, he never let me down once. I got to where I would cheer when he would almost crack and do something decent but redeem his creepyness before the end of the episode. I am waiting for a movie that has his character and the Neuman character from Seinfeld. I loved it when Neuman brought popcorn and chips to watch the trial of the Seinfeld buddies (last episode).

Eddie Hascal was good too. There just haven't been a lot of successes in this area. Who do you love to hate?
