My past two day experience is broadband only makes slight difference. It seems the bottleneck is slow web server response. Maybe I havn't found an interesting site. Tell me a site that can take most advantage of broadband.

Since you asked me previously why I retain dial-up, I can give you an answer to that question and to this latest one.

When I read a thread in SI I want to click rapidly through 99% of the posts because they are drivel. With @Home things go pretty fast but not nearly as fast as dialup armed with Naviscope. Naviscope loads forward pages while you're reading a given page. For various reasons you can't do that with @Home.

Maybe you can suggest a Naviscope for @Home. Excite wouldn't do something as menial as that. They spend time developing bloat. Now you know the true reason Jermo went to Redmond.
