Means that the ore is bound with sulfer and would have to be processed (probaly with an autoclave(large oven bake process)or some other means of oxidizing the sulfer) before the precious metals could be extracted.Refractory ore is the technical term.

Sorry I am not a "rock" guy. I was able to go back & find "Bob Tate": Message 10942010

He is a great guy and a geologist (I think). He has a couple mining companys and has evaluated many drill reports for us in the past.
