SUNW's valuation will soon correct. It's PE is ripe for
correcting to about 50 or so. The decline will be painful.

Next week Windows 2000 release and subsequent advanced
server release will put serious pressure on SUN from Compaq,
DELL, IBM, HP, EMC/DGN, Unisys etc.. on mid-range.

SUNW is fully thriving on high end E10000. But lack of a
new US3 processor till September will force SUNW to reduce
prices and loose margins.

SUNW will keep eating into its backlog and FY2001 will be
a troublesome year for SUNW.

Test the validity of this outlook if want with time.

People who sell SUNW here may find what a wise decision
it was in a year from now.

good point - my understanding was that there would not be a desktop or server product but they could do an advanced server, that would bring the numbers up... but with the memory constraints that currently exist on advanced server, it wouldn't make sense, so they would have to change the product definition.
