You cannot compare the demise of ISDN to G*. In the case of ISDN, the demand for high speed connection was always there. ISDN failed because of better options. The demand for telephony exists with those who are unserved and out of cell range and G* is the only real player in the arena. ISDN failed because of technology, not lack of demand. I know there are plenty of folks who still feel there is no demand for mss but I think that is a joke. Just my humble opinion.
