No. The trendline does not depend on the magnitude of a decline. It is rising at a constant rate. If THQI ran to $20000 in 1999 and declined 90%, it still would not break that line. The line is fixed. Look at the chart and the 1999 time period and you'll see what I mean.

Again no. The magnitude has nothing to do with it. Look at this chart: stocktrendz.com. Notice how the declines you're talking about did not break the trendline.
