Fatboy,

Today you referenced a post you made earlier this week on CREE as part of Project Hunt. There you referenced a link which you described as:

"The absolute single best tutorial on SiC semiconductor technology that I have found is this 142 slide presentation from mid 1998. About half of it is technical, but the other half has good graphics and easy to understand conclusions.
nina.ecse.rpi.edu;

I didn't investigate the link when you posted it earlier but I did punch it up today. To my surprise I recognized the author's name. I took a class from him many years ago from a remote site. He appeared live on a TV in front of a couple of us, while the rest of the class was in the lecture room on campus. I don't remember if we could ask questions. All in all it was a poor experience and I was not too impressed with the instructor.

Now you describe some of his work as "The absolute single best tutorial on SiC semiconductor technology that I have found". Could it be that he is a better educator than I gave him credit for, and that I was just not a very attentive student then? I'll give him another shot based on your recommendation. Thanks, I like all the tech talk from you CREEtins.

Greg
