No, just a successful one, unlike Bush. And bad luck can't explain the numbers that incumbent Bush drew or failed to draw. The rejection of the known, Bush, for the unknown, by 63% of voters is striking and historic.

It's clear voters weren't choosing Clinton or Perot, they were rejecting Bush. People had expected Reagan the sequel, and Bush delivered Ford II the Pinto.
