Looks like a lot of yesterdays drop was due to arb activity. The conversion premium had grown briefly to around 18% if I remember correctly. Conversion premium at 9% currently. TC2000 software shows mildly bullish accumulation for TVGIA yesterday and slightly negative neutral distribution for GMST. Someone else who knows more about Arb activity may wish to comment. But, it sure looks like arb activity stepped in yesterday. Comments? Signals growing confidence regarding merger?

Eric - Exactly! And what it also does is send a message to analysts that they can safely recommend or upgrade the stock because the revenues provide a cushion against any unforeseen downturn caused by a delay in shipments sometime in the future. Companies that don't do this end up totally at the mercy of their channel partners's timing.

So, the analyst is saying GMST could have recorded higher licencing fees based upon the number of units shipped.

Eric thanks for that great explanation, if our
gem manages earnings as good as csco or msft we'll all be very happy.
