I'm a Continental employee, and have added to my CAL position and have been buying and selling DAL the last two weeks. I don't think there is much downside on DAL, and it will make you money, but not much until crude oil prices come down. DAL is probably the best bet of the majors now, as they are nicely hedged on fuel for this coming quarter. Be prepared to hold the stock for several months. I'm buying and selling DAL on the rolling price.

One possible concern for the sector is NW's new pricing strategy aimed at domestic coach business travelers. Nobody else has matched it, but it will hurt profits if it becomes widespread.

Hi Dan,

I am looking at oil prices. Once they start coming down, DAL should really start responding well. Another consideration is the upcoming pilot contract negotiations. If both of these are favorable, I personally will seriously consider buying more DAL.
