Yes, we are living interesting times. The Old Economy Dow Stocks are telling us recession ahead while the New Nasdaq Economy Stocks are telling us boom time ahead. I guess time will tell.

I bought some more calls today. Some near the open, some in mid-day and some at the end of the day. I gotta believe that the analyst meeting is going to have an upside impact on QCOM. If I didn't believe that I should be selling the stock. This will be the perfect time to clarify the "s" word, put a very positive spin on the KYO sale, highlight HDR movement, and set the record straight on the expected number of phones for 2000 (the Street was expecting 80M, QCOM said 70M in the cc, yet the China deal should add 10M to 70 to get us back to expectations).

I'll tell you though, this has been a tough 5 weeks in 2000.
