Limtex, I do think your fears are unfounded. Remember, it's not a question of the theoretical maximum data rate a technology can provide to one subscriber, it's a matter of how many subs can receive a data rate that is appropriate for their particular application. In this department I think you will find that CDMA wins handily.

I won't repeat the other compelling advantages of CDMA.

The data rates you listed look pretty good on paper, but
didn't the same group responsible for supplying these
figures say CDMA wouldn't work.

It would seem to me, absent technical information to the
contrary, that increasing data rates on top of a technology
which struggles with allocated spectrum and power control
just magnifies those shortcomings.

PS - Even though I know better, I'm listening to Snyder's
Feb 8 interview while I'm typing this. I've never listened
to him before.
