No booth. SO ANCR will be providing some switches. Would like to see some more ambitious plans here. Maybe Thomson
could go from the video SAN archives to the airwaves.
Remember that we need the 2 gig spec to handle HD video signal inside the studios. SO watch for any 2g announcements.

J, the SanCastle 8 port switch is news to me. Can you point me to a reference? Thanks. From their website:

"At SanCastle Technologies, we have a vision of an adaptable and
unified switching fabric that connects storage I/O with all kinds of
corporate networks including LANs, WANs and the Internet. This
fusion of gigabit networking relies on adaptable, high-speed
switching fabrics that provide the hot performance expected in
optical gigabit+ networks.

The powerful infrastructures being built with Fibre Channel will
provide an integral conduit for many different kinds of distributed
business applications. SanCastle views its role in the industry as
extending and expanding the already-existing reach of storage
networking to support broader networking architectures and goals.

With several gigabit technologies to choose from for a variety of
purposes, customers are naturally concerned about protecting their
investments in these new technologies. SanCastle switching
technology is being developed to preserve customer investments in
both Fibre Channel and Gigabit Ethernet technologies."

It makes me think that maybe their switch has FC/GE bridge functionality?
