Yes, I am using the Toshiba PCX1000 with my RoadRunner. Unfortunately, data speed is only as fast as the slowest link, and I haven't noticed a significant upgrade to the WorldWideWait.

CB - Are you saying that you haven't noticed any difference in speed between your phone connection and cable? I use the same modem with RoadRunner and the improvement has been phenomenal, though it depends on the sites. SI and Yahoo are only marginally faster, but my brokerage site, as well as sites like washingtonpost.com, are much faster. And downloading music files takes no time at all - I'd guess a minimum of 20 times faster.
