why should the high flyers run out of gas???? earnings and productivity are rolling right along here..run out of gas??? hmmmmm...not this year pal..and not next year either...

and are you saying that the tops were in at 97 & 98???

the tech revolution is just begining in earnest..what we know today, has raised the intellectual consciousness up a notch..

what i mean is this...our rate of growth is being boosted exponentially by our increased knowledge curve...we are smarter, better at what we do, and with the use of computers and the internet, this will drive us to higher and higher levels of productivity, which will FUEL the coming explosion in our markets..and... our companies will be that much more profitable because of it..as eviedenced by the quarter over quarter of unparalelled revenues and profits...these growth rates are incredible...

run out of gas???? no way Jose'..yeah well, maybe for a breather..short term..but not for the long haul...not a snowballs chance in hell...

we have not seen the top in any market yet...not this year anyway...

I think your points are well taken. Check the QCOM chart from the beginning of February and see what you think.

Compare that A-D line with a McClellan Summation using a sum of the advance-decline data from NYSE/NASDAQ/AMEX against "the market" Wilshire 5000 Index.
