In New SI, all PMs are sent to the "trash". The trash holds up to 80 messages total, both private and public. If you click on "file" it will take you to a "create folders" page, where you can make one, give it a name, and file your messages, both public and private. You can access your folders by clicking on the "inbox". When creating a folder, you have to go back to the trash to retrieve that particular message. For instance, you get a message from DoReMi containing a link to Beethoven, you click on "file", it will take you to the folders page. Since you want a separate folder for DoReMi, you create one. Then you have to go back to the trash to retrieve that message, then "file" it.
