If Nabisco is worth X market cap, what is Nestle worth? What is Phillips Morris worth?

You can't compare two companies like that, just because they are in the same sector. And "worth" is a subjective term. Something is worth what people will pay. GENE is currently worth its current market cap.

Hi J, Good question, but difficult to answer. Even though the two companies are working in the same general sector, their business models are quite different. GENE is a research "collaborator" and not trying to be a pharmaceutical company. That is why there's no trials, etc.

They will eventually, by royalty, get a piece of another company's pie should they find new therapies.
