I understand your concern, but, unless Barrons is specifically targeting the field ie., smart-card technology, then I really fail to see the effect this would have on EISQ. My take, (on what you and Mo have stated) is that UPGD itself is under scrutiny for practices unrelated to the "smart-card" technology.

I agree with you that there are similarities (1.Vancuvor company,2.Smart Card 3.otcbb stock), but, I'd still like to know the associated "partners" of UPGD- if they have any? As compared to EISQ's (HP/Agilent Tech, BlueStone, Oracle) before I truly became worried.

I will admit also that it is possible that a "carry over" affect could happen, but, I'm more convinced that deeper pockets with better DD capabilities have and are accumulating EISQ. JMHO
