Harry,

I hope you're not suggesting that the holder of a call option (on COMS) has a RIGHT to Palm shares. What if I, as a COMS shareholder, sell a covered call. If the holder EXERCISES the call before the "ex-date" for share distribution, then yes, he is entitled to them. But if he only holds the option to buy the COMS shares, and I still own them, then I have the right to the spin-off, not the option holder.

At least that's my understanding of it.

-Alan

Sorry, I meant Jan 01's (ZTHAM) 65's are going for 15 3/8 x 15 5/8. I see no need to go out to 02, since 01 is beyond the six months.

No one can yet confirm how the option will be adjusted to account for the PALM spin-off. Rest assured the option holders will not get "cheated" out of the PALM benefit.

Well, I don't want to take the risk. I closed out my leaps a couple of weeks ago and got into common. I may call around tomorrow and see if I can get confirmation of how they are going to treat options holders.
