chalu, I have to agree with you on campaign finance reform. If the social programs could eliminate the fraud that robs taxpayers of millions of dollars every year, they may have some merit. Have you ever stood in the checkout line at a supermarket and seen a shopper bedecked with pounds of gold jewelry, use food stamps to pay his/her bill, then load the groceries into a brand new Oldsmobile? Have you been keeping up with the millions of dollars stolen in medicare, and welfare programs every year? There are now, thousands and thousands of welfare families whose members have not made a single attempt to get jobs and support their own in in four generations. It's not hardhearted to want people to be taught to provide for their families and have a chance to recoup some dignity.
Whether you want to admit it or not, the IRS, justice department, social services zealots, etc. have infringed upon our freedoms to much too far an extent. ~H~
