To cAPSLOCK (always thought that was a clever handle) and Chris, YOU BOTH SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOUR MANNERS. Mr Bond is relatively new here and I dont think anyone on this board needs to be laughed at for their opinions.

I have read past post from you both and there is some obvious intelligence and powers of observation at work in both cases but if you can not add courtesy to those attributes then you will not be taken seriously by others with those same qualities. Kind of like having a gold ring through a pigs ear so to speak.

Mobile Linux vs. MicroOS?

Giving details of Mobile Linux for the first time, Transmeta Chief Executive Dave Ditzel said it had been modified from the main system to work on devices with no hard disk at all and could compress programs to take up just half the space.

The operating system can instead be stored on a small flash memory card plugged into the mobile device.
