Jim, I totally understand what you are saying here. IMO this is the way it comes down. EDIG first, only because they do have the solution the big guys need and want right now in order to get to market First. First is a biggie. I know the naysayers of EDIG dispute this BUT the facts say something totally different. ie INTEL has been working on this music thing since 1994 and they still are associating themselves with EDIG. Here again IMO the edig patents are good and the big guys can't get around those patents in order to produce a competing product, so as far as I can see it's a if ya can't beat em better join em situation. Same with LU, IBM etc. Also the licensing that EDIG now has with Maycom is very telling. Maycom has a history of getting good products to the market quickly. Again speed enters in here. So my point here is that the FIRST thing that has to occur is the music industry standard is set (IMO this has already been decided and the final wrap up details are just being put in place). Once this is official and announced to the public the the 2nd step is get the products out and get them out as rapidly as possible so the consumer now accepts the standard via quantity purchases. Once this is all done, the 3rd step would then be getting on to the matter of further designs of the "new" technology which would then include monitors, TV's, speakers etc. and BTW the car industry is also heavily into and preparing for this evolution. The 3rd step obviously includes ATCO's SFT and even HST tech. I think the good news here is that from the shows like CES in January that company reps have taken samples to their labs for testing. Also, if I am correct, in my above assumptions. The EDIG/ATCO relationship is pure gold. I could be in ATCO early, if I am, It's totally ok with me. I can be patient when needed<ggg> Besides "early" has paid off for me. ie DIGL & EDIG :-) JD
